Welcome to the Tahoe Adventure Sports Road Bike index. Here you will find descriptions and information for many road rides in the Lake Tahoe area. The rides are indexed by location and difficulty. The difficulty ratings are: (A) Advanced, (I) Intermediate, and (B) Beginner. In this case, a beginner ride is manageable by novice riders or even children. Intermediate rides involve either greater distances or elevation gains that require the rider to have some experience and be in reasonably good condition. Advanced rides are long and/or steep and require very good conditioning. The descriptions are for various segments of popular roads and are not necessarily meant as complete rides by themselves. By combining various segments you can construct a ride appropriate to your level of experience, conditioning, and the time you have available. The blue text in the table indicates a link to more information, while black type means we plan to review this ride, but have not yet done so.
