have compiled here a group of maps that are both interesting and informative.
Of course, nothing can substitute for the actual 7.5 minute topographical
maps if you are planning to venture into the backcountry. We've included
a map that shows the Tahoe Basin and the USGS topos that cover the area.
We hope you enjoy checking out the photos and maps. Besides these "Big
Picture" maps, we are slowly adding maps for every ride, hike,
climb, kayak, and ski tour we cover. You can go to the trail description
